"Playing the Changes: Black Storytelling, Dancing, and Musicking at the Crossroads," Dr. Christi Jay Wells on insights highlighted by the collection from Professor DeFrantz on African American Social Dance to the importance of Afrofuturism and Thomas Dorsey and more, "Food for the Soul" in which Grey Armstrong explores the importance of understanding foodways and black communication to engaging with black culture, and "Black Modern Dance and Black Bodies in Concert Dance" with Kerian Pearson.
